What a really big state this is. The tropic of Capricorn runs through the middle of the state so it is quite cool in the South and very warm in the North. There are certainly plenty of sites to see but if you come from Europe, you will find vast stretches between these sites. Check out this site. http://www.arta.com.au/wa.html
